The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is issuing the Multiple Award Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This initiative is part of a long-term strategy to enable MDA and other Department of Defense (DoD) entities to quickly issue orders under a flexible contract vehicle. The contract aims to support national defense objectives by providing layered protection against various threats, including air, missile, space, cyber, and hybrid threats.
